CALGARY, AB – Village Brewery has announced details of this year’s edition of an annual beer series that takes the concept of “community involvement” to a whole new level.
Village Gardener 2018 (8.8% abv, 45 IBU) is a Double IPA brewed with fresh hops from “13 community gardens and dozens of Calgarian backyards to make a true community involved ale.”
Released in partnership with ATB Financial, which provides financial support for the participating community gardens, the 2018 version of Village Gardener will be launching tomorrow (Saturday September 22nd) at the Calgary Horticultural Society Garlic Fair.
Following the launch, Village Gardener will be available in a limited run of 650 ml bottles at the brewery and select liquor stores in Calgary while supplies last.
