Moody Ales Releases Pair of Fresh Hopped Beers

PORT MOODY, BC – Moody Ales has announced details of two fresh hopped ales that have been released to celebrate the harvest season.

Fresh Hopped Pilsner (5.2% abv) is described as follows:

This brew was made in collaboration with Newlands Systems, the local Abbotsford team that built our awesome brewhouse that we received last summer. This pilsner is fresh hopped with Lumberjack from our friends at BC Hop Co. Our collaboration beer was born out of a common passion for time-tested classic beer styles with a modern twist. You’ll get notes of melon, sweet citrus & clove, with the perfect crisp finish.

Fresh Hopped Red (5.6% abv) has the following notes:

This red ale is generously hopped with fresh off the bine, Cascade & Centennial from BC Hop Co. This beer is incredibly smooth, with notes of roasted malt & caramel. The fresh hops add a strong earthy backbone to the beer, with a balanced & clean finish.

Both beers are available now in 473 ml cans at Moody Ales and select private liquor stores in the area.
