VANCOUVER, BC – R&B Brewing has announced details of the latest in its Mount Pleasant Series of limited edition beers named for the East Vancouver neighbourhood where the brewery is located.
Belgian Dubbel (7.4% abv, 18.5 IBU) is described as follows:
The Belgian Dubbel is a strong, malty and complex traditional Belgian style ale with flavours of dried fruit, plum, fig and raisin. We brewed it with a yeast strain sourced from a traditional Belgian Monastery and Belgian Candi syrup. It is a deep copper colour with light alcoholic warming in flavour, and a dry finish. It’s a perfect brew on a crisp Autumn day and complements hearty suppers.
Belgian Dubbel is available in 650 ml bottles and growlers at R&B, in bottles at private liquor stores, and on tap at select local establishments while supplies last.
