NEW WESTMINSTER, BC – Steel & Oak Brewing has announced two new beers in its Hometown Series of limited edition releases.
Henley (5.7% abv) is described as follows:
Henley is a Sourdough Beer that started out as Khlib (our bread beer we made with Solodko Bakery). We then fermented it with the same starter Solodko uses to make their sourdough. Complex and malty with a fruity and slightly tart finish.
Caroll (7.8% abv) has the following notes:
Caroll is a wheat beer base fermented with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria. We then conditioned it on Cab Sauv wine skins. Funk on the nose, a refreshing wine-like finish.
Both beers are available now exclusively at the Steel & Oak tasting room and bottle shop while supplies last.
