WHITEHORSE, YK – Yukon Brewing has announced details of a new winter seasonal release that is about to hit the shelves.
Fruitcake Spiced Ale (5.5% abv, 15 IBU) is a Winter Warmer that has been brewed with cherry, apricot, cranberry, mandarin puree, ginger, cinnamon sticks, allspice, and vanilla beans. It’s described as having “bready aromas and dried fruit flavours [that] are accented with notes of Christmasy spice.”
Fruitcake Spiced Ale will be available in 650 ml bottles at Yukon Brewing and select retailers in the Yukon, Alberta and British Columbia. Other recent releases from the brewery available in the same regions include Kentucky Common (5% abv, 15 IBU), Schwarzbier (5% abv, 18 IBU), and Black Currant IPA (6.7% abv, 42 IBU).
