HAMILTON, ON – Grain & Grit Beer Co. has announced details of two new beer releases, as well as details of a new membership program.
Great Heights (5.3% abv, 23 IBU) is a double dry-hopped sour with tangerine that was brewed in collaboration with the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies. It’s described as follows:
This bright beauty was brewed with tangerine juice & zest and double dry-hopped with El Dorado hops. Citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, with tart tangerine and orange on the sip.
Fall Back Oat Ale (6.2% abv, 25 IBU) was brewed with pear and cacao, and has the following notes:
We used the same base recipe as our Spring Fever and Chasing Summer, swapped the fruit for pear and dry-hopped it with Calypso. If you’re a fan of this series, please don’t miss our ode to Fall!
Both beers are available starting today at the brewery, and Great Heights will be a feature beer at the SOBDL’s first ever Hamilton Bevy, a ladies-only beer festival taking place tomorrow (November 3rd) at Fairweather Brewing.
This weekend also sees the launch of the Grain & Grit Local Membership campaign, under which members can pay a set fee and receive a variety of perks throughout 2019 including: a free growler and custom members glass; one growler fill or 4 x 473 ml cans per month; 10% off all other purchases; first access to a new limited edition bottle series and special events; and more. And for those out of town, a Long Distance Membership program is available, with options for monthly 6-pack or 12-pack deliveries.
