GUELPH, ON – Five breweries in Guelph, Ontario have announced the launch of Guelph.Beer, an initative described as “a partnership focused on nurturing and growing Guelph’s exceptional beer culture by furthering beer education, promoting collaboration, and building Guelph’s reputation as a world-class brewing centre and beer destination.”
Featuring all of the city’s currently active commercial breweries – Brothers Brewing, Fixed Gear Brewing, Royal City Brewing, Sleeman Brewing, and Wellington Brewery – the partnership will officially kick off on Saturday November 24th with events at all five locations:
Royal City Brewing – Beer Plus! Pop-Up Market featuring vendors in the brewery tap room from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
Brothers Brewing – November edition of the Brothers Monthly Music Matinee Series with live music presented by GAIN Music starting at 3:00 PM.
Wellington Brewery – UVB-76 Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Series Launch Party from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Fixed Gear Brewing – Hosting a long distance biking event, with the tap room open from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM.
Sleeman Brewing – Opening weekend for the brewery tap room with in-store specials, crowler fills, beer by the glass for the first time, and the chance to visit the Sleeman historical artifacts room.
