ST. THOMAS, ON – A new brewery focused on serving “very flavourful beers” in a “low key, relaxing atmosphere” is planning to open soon in the southwestern Ontario town of St. Thomas.
Caps Off Brewing is being founded by Fran and Rick Dunseith, a couple who have been making various fermented foods and drinks at home for the last eight years, and have decided to go public with Rick’s beer recipes.
The small brewery will offer a stout, cream ale, Scottish ale, and wheat beer as core brands, along with a rotation of seasonal beers.
The Dunseiths hope to open in the brewery tasting room and retail shop in March, with a grand opening to follow in July. For more details, see the Caps Off Brewing Facebook page.
