CALEDON, ON – Farm-based brewery Badlands Brewing has announced that its on-site bottle shop – or more accurately, Bottle Shed – will be opening for the first time this coming weekend.
Since opening in the summer of 2017, Badlands has been selling its beer exclusively via licensees and select Beer Store locations, but is now set up to sell directly to the public.
The shop will initially be open on Saturdays from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM, with Friday hours to be added in the future. Beers will be available in 500 ml bottles, and each week’s stock list will be announced on social media and the brewery website by Friday (or Thursday, once Friday sales have started).
For the debut on Saturday May 18th, available beers will include Saison Mauvaises Terres Farmhouse Ale (7.8% abv), Dora #11 IPA (6.5% abv), Cautiously Optimistic IPA with Vic Secret & El Dorado (6.5% abv), and The Kid With the Golden Shoes IPA with Mosaic & Simcoe (6.5% abv).
The Badlands Bottle Shed is located at 13926 Chinguacousy Road in Caledon (“look for the black gable roof shed and our owl”). For more details, see the full announcement.
