SHELBURNE, NS – Boxing Rock Brewing and Saltbox Brewing have announced the release of a new collaborative beer inspired by a traditional local community pastime.
Swing-Thru IPA (6.3% abv) is described as follows:
A zesty, full of life IPA that will get your toes a tapping with aromas of lemon, apricot, peach and even coconut, followed by flavours of lemon zest, grapefruit flesh and a wee bit of pine resin. Swing Thru IPA is super refreshing with a moderate aftertaste of old fashioned lemon drop candy. This quadruple dry-hopped IPA will certainly put a swing in your step and a smile on your face; perfect for a good ole’ Cape Breton square dance party donned in a plaid shirt with a lemon drop tin in the pocket!
Swing-Thru IPA will be available this weekend at Boxing Rock and select locations in Shelburne, Bridgewater and Mahone Bay. It will also be pouring at the first annual Brook VIllage Square Dance & Beer Fest, taking place next Saturday May 25th at the Brook Village Hall (6432 Route 252, Brook Village, NS).
