AMHERSTBURG, ON – A new family-owned brewery and taproom will be opening this weekend in Amherstburg, a town approximately 30 km south of Windsor in Ontario’s Essex County.
Lot 10 Brewing has been founded by Tammy, Brian and Jeff Fowkes, as well as partner Gerry Vanderheide, and features beer from brewmaster Dylan White.
Beers set to be available in the 70-seat taproom at opening include Rivertown Blonde Ale (4.5% abv, 18 IBU), Thirsty Soldier British Ale (4% abv, 26 IBU), Thrift Shop Stout (6% abv, 29 IBU), Pinky Pledge Raspberry Wheat (6.4% abv, 12 IBU), and Nuclear Sunset NEIPA (7% abv, 35 IBU), as well as One Hundred Fifty Two Candles, a special coffee & maple beer for Canada Day.
A light food menu including cheese and charcuterie boards will be available for snacking, and customers will also be welcome to order in meals from a selection of local restaurants.
Lot 10 Brewing is located at 263 Dalhousie St. in downtown Amherstburg, and will open to the public on Saturday June 29th. The grand opening celebrations will continue through the long weekend until Monday, with live acoustic music, giveaways, and more.
