GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced that it is “doubling down” for the 27th of its 52 weekly beer releases for 2019, and offering two new instalments in its Winewood Series of wine barrel-aged beers.
Necessary & Sufficient (5% abv) is a raspberry sour ale described as follows:
Bursting with aromas of fragrant, juicy raspberry this barrel-aged golden ale pours a deep, rich, ruby red. Lightly carbonated, this beer accentuates a creamy body while the brilliant, white head floats atop a sea of red. Tart raspberry and oak greet you immediately, while a layer of funk meets you on the finish. This brew is very fruit forward, yet complex, and has a necessary amount of raspberries with the sufficient amount of funk to keep you on your toes.
Other People’s Words (6% abv) is a rosé style ale with the following notes:
Bursting with aromas of oak, funk and juicy cranberry this barrel-aged saison pours an inviting pristine pink. Effervescent with champagne like carbonation, the bubbles dance in your glass and entice you to take a sip. Tart cranberry and oak greet you immediately, while the Brett funk shines on the finish. Dry yet complex, Other People’s Words will leave you speechless.
Both beers are available now at the Sawdust City retail shop and online store.
