VICTORIA, BC – Category 12 Brewing has announced return of a popular late autumn seasonal in a new format for this year.
Excitation Stout (6.4% abv, 30 IBU) is strong stout brewed with cacao nibs and espresso, and described as follows:
Again we have paired up with our very good neighbours at Level Ground Coffee, drawing all of the flavour and none of the bitterness of the fairly-traded espresso beans through a cold-press extraction. This year, the inimitable Sirene Chocolate and their ethically sourced cacao nibs are responsible for evoking that delicious chocolate aroma that will make sure you come back for more!
Previously released in 650 ml bottles, Excitation is now being packaged in 473 ml cans, and is available now at Category 12 and select private liquor stores.
