VANCOUVER, BC – Strange Fellows Brewing has announced the return of an annual seasonal beer brewed in honour of everybody’s favourite child-stealing Christmas demon.
Krampus Abbey Dubbel (8.5% abv) is a strong Belgian-style ale with the following description:
Krampus is a Belgian abbey double brewed with Belgian candy sugar and dark malts. It is rich with the flavour of dried stone fruits and subtle toffee notes. This deceptively alcoholic beer has a long warming effect on the constitution to help ignite the dark stranger inside each of us. Merry Krampusnacht!
This year’s edition of Krampus Abbey Dubbel will be released on Friday November 15th at the Strange Fellows tasting room and retail store. The brewery will also be hosting a Krampusmarkt on December 5th and 8th, featuring works by local makers and artisans, beer and food tastings, photos with Krampus, and more.
