VICTORIA, BC – Driftwood Brewery has announced that the 12th annual edition of its winter seasonal beer is “ready to emerge from the shadows”.
The 2019 vintage of Old Cellar Dweller Barley Wine (11.1% abv) has the following description:
This ale shows huge malt body, with notes of caramel and toffee, complemented by ample hop bitterness to support it. When young, it is a hoppy treat with plenty of citrus and pine; cellared for a few years and Cellar Dweller gracefully ages into a rich, round reward for patience, hinting at flavours of tawny port.
Old Cellar Dweller 2019 is available now at the Driftwood retail store, and at select private liquor stores in British Columbia starting this week.
