EDMONTON, AB – Blind Enthusiasm has announced the long-anticipated release of the first beer from The Monolith, the brewery’s stand-alone facility for the creation of wood- and spontaneous-fermentation beers.
Measure of Patience (5.9% abv) is briefly described as follows:
Measure of Patience reflects our effort and focus during the 5 year journey to release our first beer from The Monolith brewery. This beer was fermented using a house-blend of microorganisms in French oak barrels for one year. This batch has a medium-light acidity that showcases a balanced and bright stone fruit character.
A more fulsome description of the beer and its back-story can be read on the Blind Enthusiasm website.
Measure of Patience will debut on Sunday December 15th with a launch event from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Blind Enthusiasm’s Ritchie Market location. 375 ml and 750 ml corked bottles will be available to purchase in the bottle shop, and it will also be available in pours and by the bottle in the adjacent Biera restaurant, where several special dishes designed to pair with the beer will be on the menu.
