BURLINGTON, ON – Nickel Brook Brewery has announced details of the the final 2019 release in its monthly Funk Lab series of limited edition beers.
Deadly Amigo (6.5% abv) is a tequila barrel aged Gose described as follows:
Deadly Amigo is a troublemaker among beers. It’s the friend that you trust, who then leads you to danger. Packing a wallop of lemon tartness and citrus up front, Deadly Amigo then leads to a sting of tequila goodness on the finish. It’s bright and zappy, with zero bitterness, and a whole lotta oomph. Our refreshing Gose is aged in tequila barrels, and matured on dried lemons for a punchy finish. It’s sure to be a pleaser for any sour-head or tequila-lover. Now, someone pass the salt.
Tequila Barrel Aged Gose will be released at the Nickel Brook retail store tomorrow (December 20th), and can be pre-ordered now via the Nickel Brook online shop for delivery within Ontario or pick-up at the brewery.
