KELOWNA, BC – While the timing isn’t exactly ideal due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, a new brewery has decided to open this week to start offering “weird beer and classic pizza” to Kelowna residents.
Jackknife Brewing has been founded by a team that includes co-owner and brewer Brad Tomlinson, previously of Kettle River Brewing, and is located next door to that brewery.
While Jackknife’s taproom won’t be opening until the pandemic lockdown is lifted, its kitchen is up and running as of today (March 25th) with a selection of pizzas available for takeout, and cans of the brewery’s beers will be available to purchase starting next week.
Jackknife Brewing is located at 727 Baillie Ave. in Kelowna, and has initial business hours of 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM from Wednesday to Sunday. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Facebook page.
