TORONTO, ON – A new service offering products from a variety of Ontario breweries and cider makers is now accepting orders for deliveries throughout the province.
Brewer Eats has been launched by Toronto bar Gatsby’s Speakeasy, and has a starting inventory that includes beers from All or Nothing, Big Rig, Black Oak, Double Trouble, Highlander, Lokal, Longslice, Market, Napanee, Old Tomorrow, Paniza, Small Pony Barrel Works, Tuque De Broue, and Woodhouse, plus ciders from Eden Grove Cider and Puddicombe Farms. More breweries will be added in coming week, and expansion into wine and spirits is also possible.
As per the recently introduced legislation allowing Ontario bars and restaurants to sell alcohol for delivery, each order must include at least one food item. To meet this rule, Brewer Eats has partnered with Dick Duff’s Organic Jerky to sell several varieties of its snack products, and is also offering granola bars as a meat-free alternative, with more food options planned to be added soon.
Orders can be placed now via the website, with a minimum of 24 cans or 12 bottles per order, and a $15 flat rate for processing and delivery. All beers and ciders are sold at LCBO prices, with discounts for orders of 6, 12, or 24 of the same product.
