HALIFAX, NS – Stillwell Brewing has announced the release of a new beer, and its first to be packaged in cans.
Kompakt “Kölsch” (5% abv) is described as follows:
Kompakt was brewed with Shorelinem Malting Pils malt, yeast from Escarpment Labs & Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops. Brewed gently and cellared properly with 2 months of lagering. It is everything we want in a Kölsch: clean, fresh, bitter, slightly fruity, bready, great texture, foam, lacing. Dangerously crushable. You can think about grass, lychee syrup or a pu’er tea shop across the street when you drink it, or think about nothing at all. It is, as the style was designed to be by the genius brewers of Cologne, a truly great session beer.
Kompakt is available now in 355 ml cans via the Stillwell online store.
