GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced the release of this year’s edition of an annual wild ale.
Limberlost (7.2% abv) is brewed using a wild yeast strain foraged near the brewery, and the 2020 vintage is described as follows:
Co-fermented with our house ale strain and our unique Limberlost yeast, this year’s Limberlost was fermented in stainless steel vessels. Brewed in the Biere De Garde farmhouse style of Northern France, this year’s version is quite approachable with a malt-forward body, just a touch of barnyard funk and a slightly tart finish. It’s a deceptively deep and contemplative beer, with its many layers revealing themselves on each sip.
Limberlost 2020 is available now in 473 ml cans at the Sawdust City retail shop and online store,
