LACOMBE, AB – Blindman Brewing has announced the first in a new series of foeder-aged lagers.
Foedered Lager – Vienna (5.4% abv) is described as follows:
This brew was made in the Vienna Lager style and chilled out in stainless steel for a little while. And then we moved it into our new lagering foeder. The beer sat on the brand new white oak for a month, until the crispness properly melded with the toasted oak and light vanilla. The final product is a malty, rich, round, crisp, dry lager that makes you dream of the way all beer was once conditioned – on wood.
Foedered Lager – Vienna is available now in 473 ml cans at Blindman Brewing, and soon at select beer retailers in Alberta.
