CALGARY, AB – The Establishment Brewing Company has announced the release of the latest beer from its barrel-aging program.
Born to Run (5.7% abv) is a Brett saison that was aged in oak barrels and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin. It’s further described as follows:
Slow-steeped in a red wine oak barrel, not for the taste of the wood (which is long gone), but for the pleasant and unfakeable funk of the mixed cultures that thrive there. The Brett that makes its home in the nooks and crannies of the oak is what you should thank for the fruity, free-range taste of this beer. We initially age the beer in a variety of barrels and sample the individual results before blending them together to get the best results. What we’re left with is an approachable but deep (not unlike the Boss himself) drink that begs to be gobbled down to quench your summer thirst. Get it while we’re young. (Born to) Run, don’t walk over to our taproom and strap your hands around a bottle, you gotta find out how it feels.
Born to Run is available now in 750 ml bottles at the Establishment retail shop and online store while supplies last.
