MISSISSAUGA, ON – Big Rig Kitchen & Brewery has announced that it’s first location outside of the Ottawa area will be opening this week, with another to follow soon.
The new Big Rig is set to open on Thursday August 20th at Mississauga’s Heartland Town Centre, in a space that housed a branch of The 3 Brewers until the brewpub chain closed four Ontario locations at the end of 2019.
“We are very excited to share our passion for great comfort food and award-winning craft beer in this market,” said Billy Arvanitis, Big Rig VP of Operations, in a statement. “Toronto has always been at the centre of our expansion strategy. We have expanded our [food] menu offerings as well, specifically for this market.”
Big Rig’s expansion into the Great Toronto Area is planned to continue next month with the opening of a restaurant in Richmond Hill, also in a former 3 Brewers location.
Big Rig Mississauga is situated at 5860 Mavis Road, and will be open 7 days a week, starting from 11:00 AM on weekdays and 8:00 AM on weekends. For more details, see the restaurant’s webpage and Facebook page.
