INVERNESS, NS – Route 19 Brewing has announced that its taproom and restaurant has reopened following a closure triggered by concerns of possible COIVD-19 exposure.
The brewery was closed last Monday after it was discovered that a woman from British Columbia had visited the taproom without self-isolating.
Following an RCMP investigation, the customer was charged with a $1000 fine under Nova Scotia’s Health Protection Act, and also took a COVID-19 test which came back negative.
Route 19 announced the negative result last Friday via social media, and reopened for regular service on Saturday following a five-day closure.
