GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced that it is marking its 35th anniversary with the release of a mixed pack of collaborations with four fellow Ontario craft breweries.
The Rising Tide Collaboration Mix Pack features 473 ml cans of the following beers:
- Wellington x Great Lakes West Coast Pale Ale (5.8% abv)
- Wellington x Muskoka Coffee Cream Ale (5.0% abv)
- Wellington x Cameron’s Kveik IPA (6.3% abv)
- Wellington x Nickel Brook Dry-Hopped Sour with Blueberry and Pear (4.8% abv)
While recipe development and pilot batch brewing took place in-person early this year, the onset of COVID-19 meant that the production brew days took place with the guest brewers joining remotely via video calls.
The pandemic also inspired a charitable aspect for the pack, which will have proceeds donated to SaveHospitality.ca, an advocacy group of independent restaurants and suppliers from across the country that is raising awareness about the challenges facing the hospitality industry due to COVID-19.
The Rising Tide Collaboration Mix Pack is available now for $13.95 at the Wellington Brewery retail store and online shop. It will also be distributed to select LCBO and grocery store locations throughout Ontario.
