CHILLIWACK, BC – Old Yale Brewing has announced the release of two new collaborations as part of its Trailblazer Series of single batch limited edition beers.
Sunflower Festival Witbier (5% abv) was brewed to mark this year’s Chilliwack Sunflower Festival, and is described as follows:
Experience the sunniest of seasons with our Witbier. Light and refreshing, it features a bright combination of coriander, orange peel and grains of paradise. With the perfect blend of citrus and spice, our Witbier is destined to be enjoyed after a walk through towering sunflowers on a summer’s day…
Strawberry Dragonfruit Wheat Ale (5% abv) was created together with the BC Strawberry Growers Association, and has the following notes:
Our limited release Wheat Ale is a celebration of one of BC’s favourite berries! With over 1000 lbs of field ripened strawberries, you’ll find this beer to offer a smooth, juicy and delicate berry character with a vibrant magenta hue of pink dragonfruit. This summer sipper is as beautiful as it is refreshing.
Both beers are available now at the Old Yale taproom and store, online shop, and select private liquor retailers in British Columbia.
