GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced the release of its wet hop beer for 2020.
Harvest of Eden Fresh Hop Märzen (5.1% abv) is described as follows:
This fresh-hop Marzen pours a pristine and rich burnt gold, with a pillowy white head. Lightly filtered, this old-world lager has an alluring malty aroma with a touch of spicy hops. An assertive but balanced bitterness counters the bready malt character from the traditional European Vienna malt. Through the middle, the fresh Cascade hops from VQH Farms begin to shine. They bring forth floral and spicy notes along with fresh-cut grass and citrusy lemon. Picked fresh in Eden Ontario, these wet-hops lend a unique and distinct element to this traditionally malt-forward lager bier. Crisp, but with a rich malt body, this lager is loaded with flavour but satisfyingly easy to drink.
