TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release of the latest version of a beer-wine hybrid ale.
IPA du Vin (7% abv) is a New England style IPA “co-fermented” Riesling and Gewurztraminer grape juice, and dry-hopped with Citra & Vic Secret. It’s described as follows:
Picture a rotund grapefruit rolling through a misty wildflower meadow, gently crushing grape lilies and bergamot as it tumbles into infinity. This isn’t your (cool) grandma’s over-the-top, punch-ya-in-the-face, 37% abv fruit juice smoothie IPA. No ma’am – this is a delicate, smooth, and very tasty beverage with a complex citrus profile that clocks in around 7%. If you like white wine, grapefruits and chill IPAs, you’ll love this batch of IPA du Vin.
IPA du Vin is available now in 473 ml cans at the Burdock retail shop and online store.
