HAMILTON, ON – MERIT Brewing has announced the release of two limited edition beers.
By and By Meritage Tripel (9.5% abv) is described as follows:
There are beers you drink fast. And then there’s By and By Meritage Tripel with Pinot Noir and Cab Franc, aged on grapes from Fielding Winery and Rosewood Winery! Remember last year, when it flooded your mouth with flavour? It still does! A shining ruby red pour packed with aromas of rose, grape bubble tape and cherry, exploding with juicy grape jelly flavour with a gentle tannic essence and ending crisp and dry with a puckering intensity that you can feel in your cheeks.
P.S. Pear & Sauvignon Blanc Sour (5% abv) has the following notes:
Direct from the brain of our brewer Dallas, this bright and fresh sour is made with Sauvignon Blanc skins and juice from our friends at Felding Winery. P.S. is a complex fruit salad spritzed with lemon and hugs. This sour ale pops with shimmering flavours of citrus, white grape, lychee, pear, gooseberry and melon – all wrapped up in a tart but balanced sip.
Both beers are available now in 750 ml bottles at the MERIT Brewing retail store and online shop.
