SQUAMISH, BC – Howe Sound Inn and Brewing, one of British Columbia’s oldest craft breweries, has been sold to a Vancouver-based restaurant and hospitality company.
Viaggo Hospitality Group announced its purchase of the brewery, restaurant, and boutique hotel in a statement released to local newspaper The Squamish Chief, and indicated that its “goal is to continue the legacy of the well-loved craft beer brand that is so recognizable in Squamish and beyond. Operations will remain unchanged for the foreseeable future.”
Viaggo owns a number of British Columbia restaurants, hotels, bars, liquor stores, and a golf course, but Howe Sound is the first brewery property in its portfolio.
