LONDON, ON – Forked River Brewing has announced the return of a barrel-aged sour ale that is being made available in cans for the first time.
Hansel and Brett’el (4.9% abv) is a barrel-aged sour blonde ale described as follows:
Hansel pours with a lightly hazy, golden hue and a bright, white, foam cap. Aromas of white grape and cereal notes are an easy giveaway of the long ageing on VQA white wine barrels. The palate takes a quick hit of bright acid, sour gummies, fuzzy peach candies, lychee and mangosteen – finishing with a light funk and lingering acidic, lightly tannic notes. Certainly, a beer worth venturing into the deep dark woods for!
Hansel and Brett’el is available now the Forked River store and online shop while supplies last.
