TORONTO, ON – Muddy York Brewing has announced the release of a new collaboration with Jared Hevenor of VQH Farms and Ren Navarro of Beer.Diversity.
The Entire Ocean In A Drop XXX Stout (7.5% abv) is described as follows:
What is an XXX Stout you ask? X’s were used in the past to signify the relative strength of a beer. X being the lowest in alcohol, XX being stronger, and so on. Our Stout doesn’t fit into any established BJCP category, so we decided to call it an XXX Stout. It’s flavour and mouthfeel are like a Dry Irish Stout, but at 7.5% ABV, it is certainly much more than that. Aromas of dark roasted coffee, dried prunes and an interesting note of pear are dominant, finishing dry and clean like a smooth cold brewed coffee on nitro.
The Entire Ocean In A Drop is available now at the Muddy York retail store and online shop. All profits will be donated to Beer.Diversity. and Nia Centre for the Arts, Canada’s first professional Black Arts Centre.
The beer will also be featured as part of a virtual tasting and talk on Saturday, February 27th at 7:00 PM, paired with three tapas-style courses by Lori Harris of All Sauced, and a dessert course by Tabitha Cranney of The Wren. Packages can be ordered for delivery or pick-up online for $85, which includes the food (“More than enough for 1 person and good for 2 to share!”), a 4-pack of The Entire Ocean In A Drop, and access to the Zoom chat.
