VANCOUVER, BC – Powell Brewery has announced the release of its latest limited edition ale.
Serenity Now! Brett Saison (7% abv) is described as follows:
This ale was crafted using traditional barley, wheat malts, and fermented with a mixed culture blend consisting of Belgian Saison yeast and multiple strains of Brettanomyces. The use of El Dorado Hops in a late kettle addition and a large dry-hop dose brings forward flavours and aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, and mango. The sensory profile is then complemented by the peppery Saison yeast character and the slight funk brought forth by the Brettanomyces strains.
