VANCOUVER, BC – Strange Fellows Brewing has announced the second in its Helping Hands Series of beers to benefit charities and causes in the local community.
Sororitas Hazy Pale Ale (5% abv) is described as follows:
Meaning “sisterhood”, Sororitas celebrates all champions of women’s rights to live free from violence, discrimination, and slavery; to be educated; to own property; to vote; to work and to earn an equal wage; to bodily integrity and autonomy; and to reproductive rights. Sororitas highlights the characteristics of the unique hop varieties that make up the 2021 Pink Boots Hop Blend (Sabro, Cashmier, Atanum, Citra, Laural). These include a rich and creamy mouth feel and juicy, tropical flavour.
Sororitas is available now at the Strange Fellows retail store and via home delivery. $4 from each 4-pack sold will be donated to the WISH Drop-in Centre Society which works to improve the health, safety and well-being of women who are involved in Vancouver’s street-based sex trade.
