PETERBOROUGH, ON – Bobcaygeon Brewing has announced that is has partnered with the Peterborough Petes to release the first ever officially branded beer for a team in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Petes Lager (4% abv) is a “light lager [that] is crisp and refreshing,” and is packaged in cans “designed by Ryan Dawson with art by Cam Miller [which] reflects the rich history of the team, while giving a nod to Petes fans and mascot, Roger.”
Petes Lager is available now at the Bobcaygeon Brewing retail store and online shop, and at Taso’s Restaurant in Peterborough. Distribution to Beer Store locations in Peterborough and Kawartha will follow soon.
The celebrate the launch, fans are invited to enter a contest to win 24 pack of Petes Lager, a $100 Petes Store gift card, and a $50 gift card to Taso’s. For more details, see the Peterborough Petes Facebook page.
