TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has taken over the lease of a storefront adjacent to its original brewpub on Ossington Street in Toronto, and will soon be expanding into the space.
As reported by blogTO, furniture and decor shop VdeV at 120 Ossington is relocating to a new spot on Dundas St. West, and Bellwoods will be moving in.
“We’ll begin renovating 120 [Ossington] this July and are aiming for a late 2021 or early 2022 opening,” Bellwoods co-owner Luke Pestl told blogTO. “We will be moving our kitchen to the back of the space, and will be expanding our seating into the front with a walk through to 124 [Ossington]”.
This will mark the 2nd expansion for the Bellwoods brewpub, as the original space that opened at 124 Ossington in April 2012 quickly grew to include a retail shop at 126 Ossington. The company also operates a second brewery and taproom on Hafis Road in the north end of the city.
