GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced the release of the last two in a series of four limited edition lagers, created in collaboration with brewing supply company Brew Culture.
Gravenhurst Steam California Common (5% abv):
Gravenhurst Steam is a Steam Beer (aka California Common) that is fermented at warmer temperatures using a lager yeast. This gives the beer a slight fruitiness to go along with the toasted caramel malts and earthy, minty hops. We hope you enjoy this crisp amber lager with a noticeable but well-balanced hop bitterness.
Dave’s Affordable Dortmunder (5.5% abv):
This style has a delicate balance of malt and hops to create a soft and well-rounded ultra pale lager. Taking inspiration from the original style, we chose floor malted pilsner and Northern Spring as both deliver sweet maltiness and super low lovibond. Perle and Saaz hops were used to add a dash of spice to the flavour profile.
Both beers are available now at the Sawdust City retail shop and online store, along with the previously released Soft Bodied Pils and You Know What Really Gets My Goat? Bockbier.
