GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced that while it’s annual Funkfest festival has been cancelled for a second year due to COVID-19, it will still be celebrating all things sour with a series of four special beer releases.
Kicking off the series is returning favourite Coriolis Effect Berliner Weisse (3.5% abv):
Just in time for the warm, breezy days of summer it is time for our kettle-soured Coriolis Effect to make its annual return. Refreshing and light, this pale ale has tart notes of lemon with just a hint of spicy hops. At only 3.5% it’s the perfect beer for relaxing on the dock during the day or with an afternoon BBQ.
Also out now is Pineapple & Scotch Bonnet Kettle Sour (4.2% abv):
This unique variant of our house kettle sour Coriolis Effect brings both sweet and heat! A daring amount of roasted and deseeded scotch bonnet peppers bring exciting heat that’s followed by the relieving sweetness of pineapple and the palate cleansing power of our house kettle sour.
Both beers are available now at the Sawdust City retail shop and online store, and will be joined on June 30th by two additional flavours, with more details on those to follow next week.
