ANTIGONISH, NS – After several weeks of brief pop-up openings for takeaway beer sales, Candid Brewing has officially opened its doors in Antigonish.
The taproom and patio features the brewery’s five core beers on tap, including Town Crier Amber Ale (5% abv), No Brainer Blood Orange Pale Ale (5.2% abv), Party Line Northeast IPA (6.2% abv), Humdinger West Coast IPA (6.7% abv), and Lagerish Blond Ale (4.8% abv).
Candid will also be offering various seasonal and one-off beers under the Side Door Series banner, with the first of them – Working Joe Breakfast Stout (4.7% abv), “a light-bodied stout infused with aromatic Ethiopian coffee from Java Blend Coffee in Halifax” – available now.
Candid Brewing is located in the former Casket newspaper building at 88 College St. in Antigonish, and is open daily with the exception of Mondays. For more information including detailed business hours, see the Candid Brewing website and Facebook page.
