Seven Edmonton Breweries Launch Happy Beer Street Brewery District with Collaboration Beer

EDMONTON, AB – Seven breweries located on and around 99 Street south of Whyte Avenue in Edmonton are banding together to promote the area as a brewery district.

Alley Kat Brewing, Bent Stick Brewing, Blind Enthusiasm Brewing, Longroof Brewing, Omen Brewing, Sea Change Brewing, and the soon-to-open taproom at Blind Enthusiasm’s The Monolith location have dubbed the stretch Happy Beer Street, and are marking the launch with a new collaboration beer.

Mega Collab Sour Time Dry Hopped Sour (5% abv):

The brewing teams from all 7 breweries got together to build a Dry Hopped Sour to take advantage of the super hot summer and celebrate the light at the end of the tunnel from a tough year. The Mega Collab Sour Time Dry Hopped Sour is a mouthful to say, but a tasty one that’s guava forward, with orange and herbal notes coming in on the nose and again on the finish. It is floral with flavours of stone fruit, low/medium acidity, medium bodied, and endlessly refreshing.

Mega Collab Sour Time is available now at all of the Happy Beer Street breweries. For more details, see the Happy Beer Street website and Instagram page.
