Wishbone Brewing Now Open in Waterford, Ontario

WATERFORD, ON – A new brewery that promises to be a “gathering place that brings the locals closer together and gives out-of-towners the authentic “Folkin'” experience” is now open in Ontario’s Norfolk County.

Wishbone Brewing has been founded by Tyler Ferguson, and is located in a historic building in the community of Waterford that was built more than a century ago for the Dominion Telephone Company.

Now refurbished to feature a brewhouse, taproom, retail shop and patio, the brewery will be opening today (July 23rd) with an initial beer line-up that includes Launch Party Nordic Cream Ale (5.2% abv), Carried Away Hazy IPA (6.5% abv), Derailleur Grapefruit Radler (3.2% abv), Chinwag English Dark Mild (3.5% abv), and Jam Band Blackberry Sour (5.9% abv), plus a collaboration with Concession Road Brewing and a pair of hard seltzers.

Wishbone Brewing is located at 80-2 Alice Street in Waterford, and will be open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Thursday to Sunday. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Facebook page, and a recent profile in the Brantford Expositor.
