TORONTO, ON – Left Field Brewery has announced the return of a session-friendly stout that was originally released earlier this year for St. Patrick’s Day.
O’Neill 100% Canadian Stout (4.5% abv):
O’Neill Stout is a tribute to Tip O’Neill, ‘Canada’s Babe Ruth’ and the first ever winner of the Triple Crown in 1887. It starts with a base of pale ale malt from Barn Owl Malt in Belleville, Ontario, which provides a lightly toasted malt background. Roasted barley from Red Shed in Alberta layers in flavours of rich chocolate and freshly brewed coffee and a balanced bitterness. Willamette hops from VQH Farms in Eden, Ontario, and yeast from Escarpment Labs in Guelph round out the all-Canadian ingredient list.
O’Neill Stout is available now at the Left Field retail store and online shop. It will also be on the shelf at select LCBO locations – along with Left Field’s Disco Demolition Night Double IPA (7.8% abv) – until the end of November.
