Nine In A Line Brewing Now Open in Vulcan, Alberta

VULCAN, AB – A new brewery named in honour of the important role its hometown played in the local agriculture industry is now open in southern Alberta.

Nine In A Line Brewing is located in the small town of Vulcan, and explains its name as follows:

At one time Vulcan had more grain elevators than any other location west of Winnipeg. The famous “Nine in a Line” is etched into Vulcan’s history. For over 50 years nine elevators, each with annexes, stood proud in the Vulcan skyline.

Founded by long-time friends Dan Anderson and Dave Markert, Nine In A Line soft launched last week, and is currently pouring four beers – Prairie Pale Ale (5.0% abv), Connemara Cream Ale (4.9% abv), Stubbles Your Friend Brown Ale (4.2% abv), and Country Road Honey Kolsch (4.8% abv) – in glasses, samples, and flights.

Lemonade is available as a non-alcoholic option, and a few snacks can be ordered, with patrons also welcome to bring in food from local restaurants.

Nine In A Line Brewing is located at 119 1 Ave. N. in Vulcan, and will be open this week on Thursday and Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM, with longer hours to start next week. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Instagram page.
