OTTAWA, ON – Nita Beer Co. has announced details of the fourth annual Craft Holiday Beer Calendar, a multi-brewery mixed pack featuring 24 mystery beers from Nita and 22 other Ontario breweries.
For the 2021 edition, Nita has invited breweries “from Ottawa to Hamilton” to take part, including Brew Revolution, Broadhead, Calabogie, Common Good, Covered Bridge, Eastbound, Étienne Brûlé, Evergreen, 5 Paddles, Grain & Grit, Junction, Kichesippi, Muddy York, Perth, Radical Road, Ridge Rock, Riverhead, Rorschach, Spearhead, Tuque de Broue, Weatherhead, and Whiprsnapr.
As with a traditional advent calendar, each 473 ml can of beer is marked with a number from 1 to 24, and is intended to be opened on that date in December, leading up to Christmas on the 25th. Each can also features a QR code that will be active as of the applicable date and will link to a post on the 2021 Beer Calendar Blog with details about the beer.
The Craft Holiday Beer Calendar is available via several different channels:
- Pre-orders for pick-up at Nita or local delivery can be placed at nitabeer.com, and must include a food item. These orders offer three package options – flat, cardboard box, and limited edition wooden crate – and include a free t-shirt while supplies last. There is also an option to add branded glassware for an additional cost.
- Pre-orders for delivery anywhere in Ontario can be placed at nitanotherbeer.com, with two packaging options – flat (local deliveries only) and cardboard box. These orders do not include food or the t-shirt, and there is no option to add glassware.
- A limited number will also be available at select Beer Store locations, as well as at several bars and restaurants that offer take-away beer sales.
Distribution for all ordering/purchase methods will take place in early November.
