CALGARY, AB – Annex Ale Project has announced the release of the first in a new rotating series of sour ales.
Genus Prunus (6.1% abv):
Named with vicious accuracy, Genus Prunus falls perfectly into the taxonomic rank and file of our winter line up. We contracted droves of drupes, and we are proud to announce this Stone Fruit Sour will be holding tenure for the next two months. First in a series of sours guaranteed to change bimonthly, Genus Prunus becomes the first to step up to burn it all down. Apricot, Peach and Plum along with a generous dry hop of Citra and Vic Secret, this beer is conspicuous consumption at its finest.
Genus Prunus will be available until January at the Annex taproom and retail store, as well as at select beer retailers and bars in Alberta.
