BLOOMFIELD, ON & BURLINGTON, ON – Matron Fine Beer and Nickel Brook Brewing have both announced details of new beers released in partnership with Link Up, an organization that “connects underrepresented BIPOC communities to opportunities within the craft beer industry.”
Matron Link Up DIPA (7.5% abv):
This beer is a Double IPA – but make it Matron (aka its got a “big” ABV for us, but stylistically it’s on the lighter side) – it is extremely fruit forward, packed full of tropical-citrus kisses, with whispers of resin and flowers to excite and entice you. It’s full body and super-duper balanced bitterness make it way-to-drinkable. You are welcome.
Link Up DIPA is available now at the Matron retail store and online shop. The brewery also notes that it has committed to “hiring an applicant from [the Link Up] program as an apprentice in an effort to facilitate the sharing of knowledge in hopes of bringing change to our industry.”
Nickel Brook Link Up IPA For Everyone (6.1% abv):
An extra juicy IPA with strong notes of gooseberry & citrus. Great flavours, great vibes and great beer can and should be enjoyed by everyone, no matter who you are. Drink Up. Link Up. Spread the love.
Link Up IPA For Everyone is available now at the Nickel Brook retail store and online shop.
