VANCOUVER, BC – The Ocean Wise sustainable seafood and ocean conservation organization has announced the 2022 edition of its Ocean Wise Seafood Festival, as well as the participation of several partner breweries.
Taking place through the month of February at restaurants, grocers, and seafood shops across Canada, the Festival “a month-long fundraising event celebrating sustainable seafood [that] will drive awareness about the importance of sustainable seafood and the variety of places to access those options in support of healthy oceans, lakes, and rivers.”
In conjunction with the Festival, four breweries and two other beverage companies will be donating partial proceeds from sales of select products to Ocean Wise:
Beere Brewing (North Vancouver, BC) – Go Easy Pale Ale
Goodlot Farmstead Brewing (Alton, ON) – Bighead Amber
Lighthouse Brewing (Victoria, BC) – Kapitan Czech Pilsner
Ontarieau (Toronto, ON) – Ontarieau Sparkling Spring Water
Steamworks Brewing (Burnaby, BC) – Steamworks Pilsner
Walter Craft Caesar (Vancouver, BC) – Walter Caesar Classic
