CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Upstreet Craft Brewing has announced that its Libra line of non-alcoholic beers is now available at retail outlets throughout Quebec via a partnership with Svaneke Distributions.
“Expanding our retail presence across the country is a priority for 2022,” said Mitch Cobb, co-founder of Upstreet and Libra, in a statement. “We are excited to bring Libra’s refreshing taste to the grocery aisles of select independent Quebec grocery, liquor stores and beer boutiques and continue our retail momentum.”
“Libra has gained momentum since its introduction in the last two months, which is very impressive in an already very competitive and saturated market,” added Nick Psihogios of Svaneke Distributions. “We believe Libra’s true craft taste will impress the palate of Quebecers.”
The full Libra line-up – including Libra Pale Ale, Libra Hazy IPA, Libra Pilsner and Libra Stout – can be found on the shelves of more than 100 stores in the province, including locations of the IGA, Metro, and Provigo grocery chains.
As part of Libra’s partnership with singer-songwriter Serena Ryder, a percentage of sales will go to ArtHaus, a project that supports “emerging artists and entrepreneurs through experiential mentorship programs, mental wellness initiatives, and multi-purpose live, work and event space.”
