MEAFORD, ON – Still Fields Brewery has announced the release of its first sour ale.
Mixed-Ferment Saison (5.6% abv):
In October 2021 we brewed a batch of Hoppy Saison with the aim of creating a mixed ferment culture. The bitterness from the hop character balances nicely with the tartness of the sour culture to produce a tart, but not overly sour beer. Brewed with two-thirds barley, one-third wheat and hopped with Saaz. Notes of lemon and sweet tart.
